Abstract
El primer volumen de la revista Pediatría se publicó en octubre de 1941, y desde entonces, su equipo administrativo y editorial, se ha caracterizado por el compromiso constante con la difusión del conocimiento en salud infantil, haciéndolo llegar a estudiantes, médicos, pediatras y diversos profesionales de la salud del país. Durante dichas décadas, han ocurrido innumerables cambios en cuanto a avances científicos y tecnológicos, en todo el mundo; los procesos de publicaciones científicas no han estado ajenos a ellos.
