Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had negative effects in almost all areas of human life. Serious damage to physical and mental health, the economy, the arts and research. But when we analyze which human groups are most affected, we always find that the syndemic has a greater impact on the most vulnerable. Vulnerable for having fewer economic resources, for being part of minority groups, for being subjected to all kinds of discrimination.
